Running 1:20:00 [3]
shoes: Asics Running
Had left my motor in Dunblane so trotted out to get it. Cambuskenneth-yooni-witch's craig-edge of the wood-over to the reservoir-got a bit lost and faffed around in the woods for a bit-ended up at Glen Road-up into Dunblane and then down the duel carriageway.

Got absolutely soaked.

Saturday Jun 21

Note
(rest day)
Was going to cycle out to the Longhurst BBQ. Didn't.
Note
(injured)
Pulled something in my back. Painful. That's the last time I do stomach curls!

Can't really remember but I imagine this was a rest day.

Running hills 24:00 [5]
shoes: Asics Gel 1130
Was considering the Kirky 10k but decided I faniced watching the football so went for some hill reps instead.

Went to the park behind my hoose and then ran from the playpark to the bench at the top of the hill, which handily took about 1 minute. Jog down recovery of pretty much always 1.27, although after 3 and 6 I gave myself 2 minutes. It's nice to be nice. 9 times in total, then back home in perfect time for KO and second half in the Settle.

Running race (Hill) 30:17 [4]4 km (7:34 / km) +426m 4:56 / km
shoes: Innov8s
Ben Sheann Hill Race, Strathyre.

Everything I hate about hill races, and then some. I am a runner, and if you cannot run in a race then it is stupid.

I set off nice and steady and was going fine thru the woods. But then it got stupidly steep and then it was heathery/brakeny and since I train to run not walk my legs were burning and I was going backwards and Dixie passed me and it was a stupid race. The view was nice at the top and then I pottered back down the stupid steep hillside that was slippy, gravelly, rocky, rooty and just generally very stupid. There were lots of midges that kept biting me. Stupid midges. Stupid race.

There were a few consolations though: it was short, Abii entertained by being really really grumpy and we had a great Chinese with excellent banter.

Tuesday Jun 17

Note
(rest day)
Ooops. Running late and therefore couldn't make the soup run at ali's. Was all set for a wee run round King's Park but by the time I got home I was Hank Marvin.....and then the fitba was on and before I knew it I had a wee glass of wine in hand.....

Have decided my belly needs a bit of work in light of impending summer fun sorry eh I mean I feel that superior core stability will be beneficial to my running and in particular, my ability to run through terrain. So I did 12 stomach curls on my fitball. They were painful. I couldn't do any more. I have done this 3 times since Monday though woo.
