Running warm up/down 20:00 [3]

To/fro start/finish.
12 PM

Orienteering 1:24:36 [4] 11.78 km (7:11 / km) +304m 6:22 / km

You, or I at least, can just about get away with a lack of fitness on tarmac, but it is an entirely different kettle of fish in terrain... General pace ok but not able to go up hill or through anything remotely physical. Also taking things steady as no ankle supports. Nothing to do with approach of max heart rate... Or complete knackeredness from urban... Happily calf was not limiting factor today:)

Very straightforward nav, especially at cruisey rate. Only issue was on way to 10 where I foolishly interpreted the dark green on the map as meaning one couldn't get through and climbed to the top of the hill. Lost 3 minutes here! Run in killer.

More competitive than at Dumyat thankfully, but still well off the pace.

Running warm up/down 13:57 [3] 2.56 km (5:27 / km) +11m 5:20 / km

Good warm up. No warm down which I regretted on Sunday...

Orienteering race 56:26 [4] 11.98 km (4:43 / km) +71m 4:34 / km

Another wee trot round Livi. Didn't recognise any of it though... Calf and fitness not letting me go at any pace, which at least made the nav trivial. Only real issue - apart from the lack of pace and fitness obv - was on the way to 12 when I encountered an impenetrable thicket rather than the expected (hoped for) benign runnable forest...

Will was miles ahead when he took a tumble but unsurprisingly no one else was able to live with my smoking hot pace.

All rather pleasant.
