After we found the TA (with a few detours) only had about 1.5 hours to sleep in the vans. took over around 4:10 am and ran until 10:26 to the finish. Much better running without the heat, but legs were definitely hurting.

Biking while everyone else took their turn running.

Tom's Run....200 in miles down the C&O Canal with 6 other people in 29:14. My group had 4 people for 52 miles the second leg and 48.1 miles the fourth leg the next day. we had 3 bikers and 1 runner and switched off running.

I ended up doing about 14 miles of the 52 in sets of 4, 3, 3, 2, 1,1 ish. Was keeping around a 7:10-7:15 pace (with some sub 7s in there). It was over 100 plus humidity...craziness.

Easy biking while everyone else ran...about an 8 min mile pace.

Ran two loops at discovery. Did about a 10 min w/up to get the blood going and hten picked up the pace for the next hour. Easy 15 min at the end c/d. Good run...I feel really fast right now.

road from w seattle out to mercer island, did the loop and road back. Nice fun ride to stretch out the legs...wasn't feeling the mtn bike.
