Road run around around North Ward with a fast 5km along the coast in the middle. The term "fast" is stretching it somewhat though - "not quite as slow as really slow" would be a tad more accurate description. (3:51,3:50,3:59,4:17,4:03)

North along the beach towards Pallarenda. Attempted to run a bit faster in the middle but not much chance of that given my current lack of fitness. Managed a shocking grand total of 3 miles at 6 min/mile pace. Woooosh.

Track session with the local club. 8x400m. Don Valley it ain't - it's the first time I've run on a track without having to fight against freezing wind and rain. It's just not cricket so I ran very slowly in protest.

Shuuuuuffle up and deal. My first poker game for 3 long, long months (thanks to some crazy hypocritical US religious nutters) so decided to celebrate with a return to using this Attackpoint malarky. Cash game in Townsville casino: spent $200, won $415.

Orienteering 50:00 intensity: (20:00 @1) + (30:00 @2)

Orienteering too. In the same day. Double whammy. Who says that the sabbath is a day of rest? Park O in the ville with TTOC - Totally Tropical OC - it's worth going just for the name.
