Note
(rest day)
I bottled out of the early morning run along the Routeburn Track with the Wellington crew because it was: 1. early; 2. the morning; 3. a run. On the positive side I was honoured by another visit from my favourite Jehovah's Witness who, this time, brought along backup. In a double-whammy tag team stylee, one attempted to reconcile science and religion while the other frantically searched the bible for confirming passages. I was almost convinced, right up until the surreal moment where two middle aged men wearing shirts and ties looked me straight in the eye and told me that they believed that Jonah actually lived in a giant fish.
