Bit rusty for 1 and 2 but i haven't orienteered for ages so no suprise, navigated well up to 12 but then was getting tired so the rest of the course was sloppy and lost more time than i thought in the last loop. so pleased with the the first half. got a bit carried away this week with training, and my calf is hurting again. silly. came 2nd 5min down on Ian Nixon so quite a good run.

hills up Lydgate Lane to the park about 500m with 35m climb. roughly 2min a rep. did 5 of these with jog down recovery, then went for an extended run, found Tom Lane, it was nice. not convinced about these hr zones.

easy run up and down porter to see the race, taking it easy this week after being ill. also started to wear my hr monitor again, and using the zones from spring 2010. very sunny but really cold.

night run in the peaks with magic, ba-ba, and jonny. Really fun especially as my torch is less powerful than a candle.

burbage bridge - stanage edge - terrain to haunted house - more terrain through heather yew wood - followed pipeline back to car. so most was off paths which was great.
