Did a new 10 mile loop taking in the man made river / canal hybrid. Ran too hard, I find it difficult not to when running solo. Quite tired by the end.

Missed the middle race today because walking up stairs I can still feel it's not quite right, running on the flat is fine though so I just went for a run from home instead, started steady but quickly ended up running comfortably hard.

Out to the river/canal did a loop and then home. Lovely day for it and the calf behaved itself. Every dog walker in South Manchester seemed to be out today although it is the only reasonably nice place to go in the shithole which is Greater Manchester.

hmm twinged my calf yesterday and thought nothing of it but it is a little sore today, went for a jog to try and loosen it off but I don't think that has helped.

Out to SWP, did some tempos similar to last week but not as many and a bit faster, then back home with some strides on the playing fields. Feeling the effects of last week - tired legs but making progress.
