start punch wasn't working so was timed from no 1. shame, because no 1 was quite hard. Was mostly clean throughout. Caught speaky at no 7 and was with him until 19. I stuck to my own routes. Got to 13 before him then was ahead up to 19. Then i mistook some open forst for open brashings and lost about 1.5 mins. Then cocked up 23, again confused by the vegetation. about 1.5 mins lost again. last few legs were just running.

quite pleased technically. map contact was pretty good throughout. felt tired throughout but was to be expected after yesterday.

really nice area and a great map made the course really enjoyable

quite a disappointing race
messed up 1; rushed off too quickly and took the wrong path
good up until 13 where I missed the control which is right outside my window!
ok until 20 where I took too long thinking about route choice and lost about 30secs. rest was ok but not great.

shef chasing sprint final.
started 1 sec behind tim tett.
couldn't get map out of box and start so lost 20 secs.
was chasing tim up until 15, then I took the lead and pulled away
pretty clean throughout; was really knackered by the end.
really good courses for both the prologue and sprint; great fun!

came 6th overall.

times were mucked up becuaes the clock at the start was wrong. estimated 2 mins off result

heros session on bole hill road
was fine on the 1st one but calves completely died about 3/4 of the way up the 2nd.
decided not to go back for the 3rd so went and jogged around whilst the others did the 3rd
