(rest day)

had a long lie in for the first time in ages which was nice :)
tried doing the physio exercises but right knee was having none of it.
hopefully with a few more days rest it should get better.......

burbage mines
to quality little areas on a new map from magic.
really nice area and good courses
still pretty knackered so not expecting much. tried to focus on the nav but not enough map contact, expecially on such a small scale.

still coughing a lot and probs shouldn't have been running in hindsight. also slipped and jarred my knee near the end of the 2nd course :(
will definitely rest tomorrow. am in labs all afternoon on mon as well so hopefully a few days off should clear up the cold and help the knee.

against the teachers at tapton school
played well in the start of the 1st and 2nd
we got 7-4 up with some quality play and goals
but then we got tired and ended up losing 8-4: a bit of an epic fail :(

s&c after physio
warm up
bar warm up
back squats 10,8,6,6 @ 55,60,60,60 decided to keep the weight down a bit and focus on technique, especially from what physio had to say
overhead squats - wrists really hurting so could only manage 3 *4 reps
split squats 10*3*15kg
DB superset chest/incline 4*8reps at 12.5,12.5,12.5,15kg
DB superset shoulder/chins 4*8reps at 7.5,7.5,7.5,10 and 26kg assist (19 on last) still finding shoulder press pretty tough
then some roll outs and hamstring curls and a few planks
not a very fun session on your own

saw the physio today
have got an imbalance in my hips which has had a knock on effect on my knees
Tensor fasciae latae's are very stiff as well so have got exercises to loosen them off.
can still do all sessions; shouldn't be around for too long :)

shadowing charli round the 2nd half of control pick on bingham
she did really well - confidence was improving throughout and that really showed on the latter part of the course. was getting a lot smoother and bearings were much better after some proper map folding.

knee felt fine this morning but not really up to racing so am going to have to give the sportsman race a miss unfortunately. still got a bit of phlegm in my throat so am going to rest and hopefully get some work done.....
have got physio tomorrow so will hopefully find out what the problem with the knee is.

also; google's updated their satellite images so endcliffe village is actually on the map! there's also a circus in endcliffe park.......

woke up this morning coughing up some green crud
will see how i feel this evening. will probs do hills as don't think knees are going to be up to track
got a physio appointment for thurs :)

up racker lane then walkley bank road most of the way to the sportsman
was aiming for 6 reps but was coughing up quite a lot of crud on 4 so called it a day after the 5th.
knee got progressively worse as session went on but could only feel it every so often :S

took a rest day
couldn't feel anything wrong in the knees today
have emailed physio just to get them checked out anyway
