on the treadmill. has been a while since I last went on one; won't be going on one again in a hurry.

weights and core. back feeling much better - back to a nice comfy bed rather than hard floor.

jk relay, 1st leg mens prem
overshot 1 so lost 20 secs. then lost 20 secs at 3 trying to punch the 1 si box. was still nearish the front though. then lost the front at 9 with a slightly longer gaffle. got really tired after spectator and lost bout 1 min. came in about 3 mins down.

jk long at braunton burrows, 5th m20e
dissappointing race overall. started off ok, only losing about 1min overall up until 6. started feeling ill around 7 and 8 and couldn't run comfortably after this. lost 2mins at 12 with a 90 degree error. crappy route to 13 as got confused by the mapping of the water. peter followed me and caught me going the same way - caught duncan as well. then missed the control when i got there so peter got away. got pretty tired after this and stomach was getting worse. small mistakes on 15, 16 and 19. then lost another 30 secs due to the crap map at 23.

annoying as thought my fitness would let me down today but nav wasn't up to scratch either. not sure what was up with my stomach. didn't get better for a good few hours after.

started off steady but didn't attack the course enough. dodgy route to #1. 45 sec mistake at #3 looking on the stream-earthwall junction instead of the stream. caught james t up going to 12 then was with him until 16 where I got away. again, pleased with the result, just wish I was a bit quicker.

pretty good race. bit hesistant on 5 then went the wrong way out of 14 losing about 20 secs. need to work a bit more on planning ahead. quite pleased considering i've done next to nothing speed wise.

back aching quite a lot from physio yesterday but soon forgot about it whilst running. nav was good
