Orienteering on the Shoreview (Shoreline ComColl) 2005 WIOL map, which was proposed to be used for the training tomorrow.

Max: I think we want to reconsider - the course is significantly different now than it was when it was first mapped, and the woods got pretty hairy to run in after it got dark. I'm also not confident in my own abilities to set it correctly, so I would think you would also not be confident in your abilities to set it correctly.

Other options:
Something at St. Ed's (I have several maps; I don't know how good of an idea this is - IIRC, St. Ed's is probably hairier than Shoreline ComColl.)
Contour only map at woodland/extreme-O map at woodland (I don't know how useful for teaching this would be.)
2007-8 season course 4 map at Hamlin (we've run it before, so it wouldn't be terrible to set, though you might have to cut off 1 or two controls that are on Shorecrest school grounds.)
Magnuson course 4 from 2007-8 (another good option - I like this course; it's pretty clean and probably wouldn't be too bad for you to set)

Went to get new shoes, but they didn't have any in my size. =/ Talked with one of the salespeople for a while while Max was trying on new shoes. Signed up for the half marathon. Good stuff.
