Meet today was canceled. Apparently there was an issue with getting the maps printed. I think it will end up being rescheduled, but no firm word on that yet.

It was wonderful out today. There's nothing like getting ridiculously high from running to cheer you up. =D

My brother and I skied each lift on the mountain* exactly once! It ended up being 24 lifts.

(*We only counted the ones that had a vertical rise of more than 100 feet. We figured we could skip the magic carpets and such that the ski school uses.)

In Vail this week with family... I have two ways of accessing the internet - one is by sitting in the driveway 3 houses down from the one we're renting to steal their wireless, the other is by hanging out in the Starbucks, which isn't too feasible if I ski. I took the day off today, so I've been at Starbucks all afternoon, catching up on everything. Unfortunately, this involved an hour of posting on people's walls to (gently) remind them to send in their pictures for numi. Now, on to my stuff for MerGeo, and then, back home!

Yeah. I wish I had people other than my family here.

Quads are super sore from skiing. It's not much of a cardio workout, but man, it's sure a body strength exercise!
