long distance...wow. Such a shock the system, haven't been on 1:15000 since nationals last year and seemed to take ages to get into the map, by which stage my legs had nothing left and I was walking. Very nearly pulled out but haven't done that before and wasn't about to start just because I was unfit. Good in that I can see how far behind I am now after a fair while off and makes me even more motivated. I need to get back in the forest/reading maps as much as possible
