felt really crap for first 20mins but got into it eventually, went up flagstaff and finally fit enough to go exploring down the other side to whare flat road and then home through the lifestyle blocks and suburbs, had no idea where I was most of the time but was fun exploring what will be my side of town next year. Strange there were so many dead goats on the gravel road, freaked me out

very slow and easy, felt like I was running in circles. Explored more tracks around the other side of the reservoir but kept coming back to the same place. Very confusing, perfect timing before the rain though

last sprint series, at chingford park. Should have taken control descriptions cause the end was a bit tricky without them but alot of fun, finally feeling a bit fitter

really easy pace up signal hill, first time this year and they've felled half the hill!!bit of a road bash but new shoes made it better, finding it takes a while to get into it after a day of study

out to Portobello then back up and over the top of the Peninsula, such a horrible wind on the way out I kept getting blown around but once I hit the hills it was more sheltered. Should have eaten before I went cause I hit the wall on the hills

sprint orienteering, i'm so unfit but was fun, sneaky ryan hid the control in the playground and it took me AGES to find it and played with a cute puppy for a bit on my way to the finish

with rosie again, up north road then down the road to sawyers bay and port chalmers. Out round the bays a wee bit until we'd done an hour then turned around and went back, the hill back up to north road nearly killed me, very character building. Hip didn't hurt at all on the bike but can still feel it when I'm walking, no injuries for me so a rest day tomorrow

excitement of amazing weather and a summer job meant I did this run 5 minutes faster than a couple of weeks ago, getting fitter!

best way to spend a sunday morning, with Rosie out to Portobello then up to the top of the Peninsula and back round the tops. Such amazing views but pretty windy when we were heading down. Felt the best I have on a ride ever, might head out there by myself this week and go hard the whole way. Nice to have a new route to do!
