did kates strength program but only did 40 sec for core then 20 sec between each as I'm so weak and then 30 sec for the rest of them. Will work my way up slowly but think it's a series of exercises that will suit me

easy jog around with dunc and kate, struggled alot but was good to do. Got myself some serious blisters from my o shoes

was so stoked when I caught kate up but then found out she had done 10min mistake, very very slow which is to be expected given no speed work but feeling reso strong at a slow pace. Some very dumb mistakes from rusty map reading

orienteering with james, dunc, kate and laura. Man I'm slow at reading the technical stuff, was a good shock that I need to do way more actual orienteering to get anywhere near the level the others are now at

skied the hollywood bowl and went a bit too far as we were getting so excited with the powder, probably added an extra 10mins to the hike back to the chairlift. Shoulders so sore from skis

getting stuck in auckland and my priorities to ski the weekend meant a few very long days in the lab. Will be the same on Monday before heading to Hastings

still stuck in Auckland, thought I'd have a break from hills so went to Mission Bay via Kepa Rd, round the waterfront and back up past the rose gardens. Used to do this route as a long run but can't remember how long it took. Managed to maintain a nice pace but leg aren't used to so much concrete and flat

blimmin snow!!!stuck in Auckland which is a massive pain given how much work is waiting for me in the lab. At the same time skiing next weekend is going to be insanely good. Just yogged around, the new bridge over orakei creek makes for an awesome wee route

awesome day at whakapapa with the parentals. A fair bit of waiting for mum and dad but there were no queues so lots and lots of skiing. Good few runs in the arvo and even managed to get mum down black magic

spin bike again, was keen to get out for a run but it's raining and freezing so opted for the warmth of the gym. Struggled to keep going after an hour, body not used to doing so many days of exercise in a row. Hopefully now that I've got the lab work under control I can start getting some more structured training done

couldn't face a run so went on the spin bikes at the gym, was good with a few efforts thrown in every so often after a nz triathlete girl sat next to me and made me feel very inadequate

Not entirely sure where I was most of the time but headed kind of towards Mosgiel then up the hill and round a state housing area, pretty sure every second house had a snarly dog which I didn't enjoy. Headed back towards the reservoir way then round and about until I popped out quite perfectly at moana pools, was worried I was more lost than I realised and the run would be significanlty longer than expected
