Cycling 1:30:00 [3]

out round the peninsula, such a nice ride and hip felt fine. Next time I'll wear woolen socks as my toes froze!

rock climbing 30:00 [3]

out at long beach, such a beautiful day for it. Legs and arms were so shaky on my last go that I didn't think I'd make it up

Note

hip still niggly so thought it's better to be safe than sorry. Will run again on Monday to test it out

Running 36:00 [3]

up Cargill for a bit then back down and round the mountain bike tracks, hip still niggly so called it quits

Strength 20:00 [3]

back to the old pilates, have a sneaking suspicion that my sore hip is linked to shitty core and potentially itb as I could feel it running down Cargill today. This worked last time, should never have stopped

Cycling warm up/down 30:00 [3]

Cycling tempo 30:00 [4]

just at they gym, did 20mins then decided I'd do anther 10mins after a 10min break. Was good, not entirely sure how to transfer my training from running to biking. Set the gear where I was pushing but my legs weren't on fire and then maintained an rpm around 115-120 or higher as the little bike thing only went to 120. Felt pretty good and definitely feeling stronger than last time cycling, also hip didn't hurt which is good, still gonna take it easy tomorrow to test it out.
Some hilarious running styles on the treadmills in front of me made my day, almost snorted with laughter at one lady

Cycling 10:00 [3]

easy in between tempo bits

Running 37:00 [3]

very easy jog around and about, hip still a bit niggly so took it easy and might cycle tomorrow instead

Running warm up/down 21:00 [3]

Running intervals 20:00 [4]

10x60m, did this twice with a couple of minutes break in between. Felt good except for my hip which keeps being niggly. Found when I dropped the sore hip slightly when I was running it didn't hurt as much. Seems to only get bad with speed work so thinking it's something to do with the way I'm striding and being weaker on one side. Also managed to freak a guy out, pretty sure he thought I was chasing him when I was going faster. And discovered my tights are worryingly see-through, need to remember that when I'm at the gym and people are in closer proximity..and maybe invest in some new tights
