no warm down but did control collecting

Orienteering race 1:44:37 [3]

long distance...wow. Such a shock the system, haven't been on 1:15000 since nationals last year and seemed to take ages to get into the map, by which stage my legs had nothing left and I was walking. Very nearly pulled out but haven't done that before and wasn't about to start just because I was unfit. Good in that I can see how far behind I am now after a fair while off and makes me even more motivated. I need to get back in the forest/reading maps as much as possible

quite a fun course but just too unfit. No mistakes but a few slower route choices where I couldn't make up my mind on which way round buildings

went to physio today and she reckoned my ligament in my lower back is really tight due to being used to compensate for other weak muscles. So have a whole bunch of stretches to do which should keep me fairly well entertained and hopefully sort me out!! Still felt niggly jogging round today so no point pushing it, so nice to be home!!!

round and about on the tracks, pretty good but hip still playing up so heading to the physio tomorrow
