Loosening off the soreness from midweek with a run to Stanage Pole and both trig points. Failed to encounter the party group of Dave P, Cat, Heather, Alistair and Tim T - shame.

Horseshoe round Creag Meagaidh from Aberarder, three Munros in total with Carn Liath and Stob Poite Coire Arder on the first ridge before heading round the corrie head via The Window to Creag Meagaidh itself.

Never been up there before, what a mountain and set of cliffs and corries, awesome.

Nice day again with cloud always well above the summits. Feet sore after yesterday but coped, helped by the big descent being mainly soggy not rocky. Great two days out!

Note: count 155 Munro summits now.

Big day out round the Geal Charn group between Loch Laggan and Loch Ericht, with Pat.
All four Munros clear of cloud for us (although not before or after), tough wind of 35-40mph on the first two tops seemed to drop away thereafter.
Whole range looking great as was the Ben Alder group just to the south (scene of a previous big outing for us).

Much enjoyed but I really need to do some training, last couple of hours of this back to the car were a real grind. Not sure what scale of jaunt I'll manage tomorrow...
