Carleatheran again after some more snow last night. Wild up there with v strong cold wind and more drfiting/mini-cornices now. Almost had to get the compass out at one point when the clag came down!
Slightly more opportunity to run for stretches of it. but still not enough for AP to consider the whole thing as a run :)

Not sure how much longer before a thaw so thought had better get up to Carleatheran again even though it was snowing when I set off! A bit more hard crust now (but still not enough for AP to identify this as a run not a walk/run!). Pretty chilly, wore my gloves for winter walking in the mountains and nevertheless my hands still got cold!

Carleatheran again. Still not a hard enough crust for consistent running. Some pretty big cornices and drifts now. Also plenty of sunshine and still magical to be up there all alone in the untrodden deep snow.

Similar route to yesterday, but nice and sunny for much of today and great company from Doug, enjoyed catching up. Snow crust a bit firmer today too, only a bit however and my shins are showing the marks of two days of breaking through it regularly...
Had watch stopped in error for two big swathes of the run, using Doug's data.
