Scottish Relays, Sluie
Handicap team with Heather and Rona, last leg.
Set off with a lead of more than 3mins, binned nearly 5mins at #5 (too far and then too high, vague slope/rock and not helped by the extra tracks, no real excuse though) and saw DaveR punching as I finally descended to it. Sneaked past at the next but visible on the path run to 7 and he caught again. Got a small gap at 10 (with just the re-used and last controls to go) but then got properly stuck in a marsh and had to crawl out, watching Dave run past as I did so. Couldn’t quite get back ahead. What a shambles.

Scottish Champs, Glen Dye, M55L
Started scrappy, got it going a bit and met Jase on M50 (different course) which helped get me going at the right speed up the hill on the long leg. But sadly also helped me overshoot the control by miles…came back to the same spot more than 9mins later ffs!

A bit slow and scrappy again after that. Unsurprisingly a long way down!
