I was sleepy before X-Files and I was thinking of going to bed right after X-Files (WTF was that ending? Really? There better be another season.) Instead I made myself do this. Now only if I can keep it up...

orienteering race (Score-O) 57:06 [4] *** 4.87 km (11:43 / km)
21c shoes: Inov8 O-roc 280 Redux

DVOA President's Cup at Springton Manor Farm

Distance from Garmin

Score-O with no flags, just e-punch units, at the locations (except some controls which were also on White course and had a flag, but were worth only 1 point)

31-39-38-60-61-63-62-59-58-36-57-54-55-56-33-52-50-32-40-41-67 for 103 points

Headed straight toward the top of the map since most of the high (7 and 10) point controls were there. Only bothered with the 1 pointers if they were in the way of where I was already headed.

Considered 69 in between 41 and 67 but time would have been tight. Wish I would have paid more attention to the penalty though. At 1 point per minute late, it would have been worth going after that one after all.

My lower back hurt weirdly (all to the left side and really more above my hip than anything else) for about the first half of this, then just felt really stiff.

Hiking in Spring Valley Park with my friend Gwen. Beautiful weather, but still lots of snow/mud on trails.
