road run 32:00 [4] 2.85 mi (11:14 / mi)
shoes: Asics Gel-Excite 3

I thought about doing a trail race this morning but couldn't make myself get up that early.

Maybe a road race tomorrow. Maybe.

Decided to go to rail trail, just go out for 15 minutes, no matter how far I got, then turn around.

A lot of my clothes were still in laundry from orienteering last week, so I didn't really have enough on. It was coooold.

QOC Greenbelt - Green

Fun course despite the cold. Aside from getting on the wrong (perpendicular) dirt wall for a moment at 3 and a little hesitation at 13 everything was pretty smooth.

Remembering what I wore last year at the coooold Little Bennett meet, I added a few things since some parts of me were a bit chilly there. This setup worked out well for the day. Once in a while I was a bit hot or a bit cold but overall I stayed just warm enough and didn't get all sweaty.

4 shirts - 2 short sleeve o shirts (leaf Bryzos and light blue Trimtex), one long sleeve (teal Champion with thumb holes) one long sleeve light fleece (black)
3 pants (LLR Jordan athletic tights, thin black Vavrys o pants, SVO pants)
gaiters
3 pairs of socks (two thin black and one thicker white)
ankle braces
buff
hat
2 pairs of thin stretchy gloves

The only issues were that the gaiters wouldn't fit over all the pants (so they were in between layers) and I could barely tie my shoes despite only adding one thin pair of socks.
