I wanted to walk between work and my club meeting, but some truck hit a pole down the street and the power went out in the area. Which meant when I went next door to the grocery store to get drinks for the meeting, they were still getting the systems back online. The self checkouts weren't working, all of the other lines were a mile long, and then traffic was snarled in the area because the road was closed. So no time. Got home after 9 PM and it is so windy outside I just gave up and did this little bit.

QOC Wheaton - Green (with trails removed from map)

Was up late last night having game night with friends (and drinking) and then lost that hour of sleep as well. Woke up this morning and did not feel like getting out of bed, let alone driving for two hours, but somehow I made myself do it. And I was glad. The day was beautiful and the course was fun, and indeed made much more difficult without the trails, although 10 was the only one I missed on badly.

DVOA starts up next weekend so probably done with my southern migration for the season.
