10 AM

hiking 2:00:00 [1] 4.98 mi (24:06 / mi)
shoes: Asics Gel-Excite 3

Similar to last week - all over French Creek Central doing photography for Patriots Orienteering Challenge, the new event similar to MASOC but for ROTC/military schools. Not too many entrants for the first year of this new event, and it was the same courses as last week so I opted to hang out around start a bit and then begin at the finish and work my way backwards this time. By the time I got halfway around the lake, I wasn't seeing any more competitors, just a few regular DVOA folks who started later.

In the afternoon there was a relay instead of the MASOC score-o.

Around Lancaster County Central Park, which is my closest mapped park and therefore one I am well acquainted with. However, today I crossed the covered bridge onto the Kiwanis peninsula and hiked around some trails in an area which isn't on the map and which I have never visited before.

Sunday May 6 #

6 PM

DDR 32:38 [1]
shoes: Bare feet

It was raining, and my original plans (trail ride and picnic with trainer's hunt) got cancelled. Although some were trying to convince me to return to FC for a second day and do a course, I took the rare opportunity to sleep in. Other than that, a bit of cleaning and mostly working on photos which has been taking up the majority of the day.
