DVOA French Creek West - Green

I went into this expecting misery. This map was basically given up on and last used 6 years ago. The course setter's notes warned that it was out of date and thorny. The weather was expected to be cold and rainy. But it actually turned out to be a pretty nice course. I really didn't have any issues with the map. The woods were mostly decent and the thorny stuff was low to the ground. There were a few places where I went probably too far around in order to avoid vegetation. The rain started when I was on my way to 4, but I had dressed well enough that I never really got cold. (I was thankful for the long sleeves and gloves that I at first thought were overkill.) I also did not have any major issues with any controls, even though some of them were basically terraces in the middle of nowhere.
