Snowshoeing (With Weight-55lbs/80lbs) 1:20:00 [4]
shoes: Merrell: Chameleon Thermo 8 WT
Headed out with ESAR Temamates Bash and Damuhl for some fresh air and training. Damuhl (in real life my brother) had not been on snowshoes since he was a kid, and living in a city has meant most of his working out has been on pavement or concrete. Makes me realize all the more how blessed I am to have access to this amazing Caledon playground right in my back yard.
Bash and Damuhl fitting right into the scenery
Still enough snow to make the hills a challenge, and the creek crossing fun.
Fearless leader Bash showing the way; actually Yukon was leading the way ahead of her.
She's making it....
All the fresh air started getting to Damuhl.

Snowshoeing (With Weight-55lbs/140lbs) 45:00 [5]
shoes: Merrell: Chameleon Thermo 8 WT
Started off as a family hike with some training (pack with 55lbs.) Our youngest daughter Sydney (9 yrs old), had a cough that threatened to end it early, so I thought I would try cranking up the training aspect of the outing. Added her weight to my pack for about a third of the time.

Miscellaneous (Toboganning) 2:00:00 [2]
Fun with a bunch of teens from our church. Made it a work-up by running back up the hill a few times and being dragged around on a sled behind a snowmobile while holding on for life. OK, so not official training but was stiff, sore and bruised before it was over.
