Note
OK - ta da! I did some real bunny hops on my mtb tonight. technique is poor b/c the front end usually touched down first and I only got a couple inches off the ground. But I've got the right moves to get the front up then the back up at the same time.
bike (MTB) 15:00 [2]

Monday Oct 6

bike (stationary) 31:00 [3]
ahr:131 max:171
600 cal. (pretty high HR. . . . )
Note
i have been obsessively attempting every few nights or so for the last two months to "bunny hop" my bike - which i can't do. I don't know why I want to be able to do this, but it seems important somehow. My latest attempt focuses on crouching low then springing forward over the bars while 'pulling' myself over them. this works well to lift the back wheel alone, but I cant get the timing to do it w/ the front wheel up. still its either front up or back up but not both. Oh yeah, my ankle seems a little better but of course the key will be if I can run on it. . . .
