used my new magnifying safety glasses today, which I think were a success. they did not fog and allowed visibility while running, with enhanced visibility on the map. This map was not particularly detailed however.

this went well w/ regard to nav, but I got tired half way through the course and had to slow down which was a bit surprising to me b/c I think i am in good shape. I think I didn't eat enough and had done a lot of running the last 2 weeks.

Arrg. chain broke yet again. So the internet says to stop using the same link to reconnect it because that one is ruined - use a powerlink and carry several with you for just such an occasion. Smart idea! and now i have to because the pin for the link flew off into the grass.
