some success despite the medium pace but felt tired and stiff. Probably from running with so much effort before

Focus: activate the glutes. Go for the foot strike rather than place and push which is exhausting. Try leading left or right to get the rhythm then evening out. Then try leaning into it, aiming for hitting the ground behind the COG, and standing tall with high elbows.

Strike three. Tried focusing on leaning forward but couldn’t get it. Feet felt awkward and slow. I recall that I used to get it marathon days by doing a few high knees w a few quick strides while leaning forward
