road run 35:59 [3] 5.5 mi (6:32 / mi)
Quick run because I ran out of time somehow. I started some beer bread baking so I only had about 40 minutes to run before I needed to be back to check on the goods. Timed it pretty well. gorgeous day out, just wish I hadn't eaten quite so much raisin bran quite so immediately before running.

Thursday Apr 3

track 30:00 [3] 2.25 mi (13:19 / mi)
track workout with the CSU crew. Tonight that consisted of Lori, Brendan and myself. Brendan and I ran 400-600-800-800-600-400, with 400 of rest between. our paces were ( if I remember correctly) 84, 2:13 , 3:03, 3:00, 2:19, 84. Brendan actually was keeping splits though I think.

After the cool down Lori had us do gymnastics torture session alias "core training" which involved various diabolical crunches and situp-y things.

Note
all work and no run makes ross a dull boy. stuck in the lab until 6:30, and then I took the T home, and Sam took me out to dinner. mmm food. I'm quite embarrassed because I didn't finish my whole meal. I'm slipping in my old age. There was a time that I could easily eat an entire basket of rolls, most of an appetizer and a whole plate of pasta.

overcome by curiosity I purchased Flight of the Conchords, hope it's as good as people ( some even on attackpoint) say

road run 47:09 [3] 6.0 mi (7:51 / mi)
Running home from work. oh so icky sticky humid. Today was a "should wear my contacts more often" kind of day. I felt very slow, except when I was racing a dude up the BC hill. my legs were a little bit tired, I had a hard time getting my turnover up. It was so nice to run in shorts and a shirt, though soon I will be switching over to short sleeves.

road run 47:55 [3] 6.0 mi (7:59 / mi)
I was not planning on running this morning, but then I was strangely awake-feeling this morning at , no joke, 7:15 ! yikes. So I had the time to do my crunches, make the bed, have breakfast and run to work by 9. Not too shabby. I didn't run that quickly though, mostly because my backpack felt sooo heavy. My legs felt great, my foot feels much better too. Wicked warm, sixties feel good.

Monday Mar 31

road run 48:15 [3] 6.0 mi (8:02 / mi)
running from the work. Stopping at the Trader Joe's. ohh ohh, did you hear that Wegman's is coming to Boston!! I'm so thrilled. I'm going to camp out in line :) mmm. turns out that I didn't need to pick up risotto ingredients because Sam went shopping too, and she got turkey burger stuffs.

slow because of all the yumminess kept in my backpack.

skiing 2:00:00 [3]
our plan was to skate along some trails up by the inn, but we found that they hadn't been groomed recently enough. So we headed back down to the Jackson trails and skied up and down the river again. Snow was much slower today, even with glide wax. skiing in short sleeves :) how very nice.
