Road run 38:14 [2] 4.27 mi (8:57 / mi) +19m 8:50 / mi

To work. My crunches this morning were noticeably more sore after the video yesterday.
6 PM

Road run 15:17 [2] 1.13 mi (13:31 / mi)

Heading to the track for CSU running section. Stomach feeling hungry. Even loud techno music can't cure that.

Track 31:33 [5] 2.91 mi (10:51 / mi)

Very fun workout, ran with SGB as much as I could, he's a frisky Velociraptor though, so I couldn't always keep up. We were counting laps by counting nouns in series. For instance, SGB did Greek letters and I did the phonetic alphabet. Then we did days of the week, and then I was trying to do series of animals in progressing alphabetical order. It was very silly indeed.

workout was 800 - 2x (1000-600-400) - 200 all with 200 jogging rest.

2:31 - 3:10 (?) - 1:48 - 71 - 3:08 - 1:50 - 67 - 29

skipped the opportunity to run more 200s, and skipped the cooldown in order to get home.

Road run 37:36 [2] 4.02 mi (9:21 / mi) +84m 8:47 / mi

Track to the grocery store. I was going to pick up dinner, but Sam had already taken care of that so I just walked around getting essentials. Yeast, chicken, sausage, cereal, and ice cream.

now bedtime, eventhough I have 26 unreads. One must prioritize.

Strength 50:00 [1]

Did the arms and abs and stretching core fusion video that Sam got from the library.

Definitely humoring the ladyfriend, but it was kind of fun too. Wanted to see what the fuss was over this core fusion stuff. The arm exercises were quite tough for me and I dropped the 5 lb weights when I stopped being able to do the side flys.

Would have liked to go running, but I did other stuff instead. Plus a day off might help my heel blisters.

Road run 42:16 [2] 4.26 mi (9:55 / mi) +5m 9:53 / mi

Snowy run to work in the morning. Lots of icy beard build-up.
6 PM

Road run 29:51 [2] 2.79 mi (10:42 / mi) +3m 10:40 / mi

Running to CSU training. Stopped for errands at Berman O-supply and the Harvard Market for a ski-o map holder and ice cream. sidewalks were slushy which made for slow going.

orienteering 1:10:50 [3] 7.5 mi (9:27 / mi) +73m 9:10 / mi

Street-o set from Lori's place. not much traffic, so it was kinda eerie with so few cars. I had some stomach issues so running quickly was a challenge. I also miscounted roads leading to control 3 ( I messed up twice) and was all turned around. Things went much better after that, just tootling along slowly.

Dinner afterward was fantastic. Props to Lori's ratatouille-esque pasta sauce :) Always good to see the crew.

Road run 1:04:33 [1] 6.06 mi (10:39 / mi) +108m 10:06 / mi

Blah, GI discomfort still very much in evidence. So an epically slow march home. Still, jogging home was way faster than taking the subway home on Monday.

Road run 34:41 [2] 4.22 mi (8:13 / mi) +9m 8:10 / mi

Energized run to work. Legs not complaining about the weekend. Perhaps I wasn't skiing hard enough :)
7 PM

Road run 19:35 [2] 1.32 mi (14:50 / mi) +13m 14:24 / mi

naturally, running late for a dinner date up in Davis Square. I did the math and decided that I might have better luck getting on the train at Central and getting off at Porter. Ended up about 5 minutes late. Sprinting the stairs at Porter is a good hill climb.
