Rowing - Concept 2 23:32 [3] 5 km (4:42 / km)
Should try and go for a run - but at the moment the weather is less than conducive. So, managed to fit this in waiting for James to finish school.

Thursday Sep 4

Rowing - Concept 2 24:05 [3] 5 km (4:49 / km)
No warm up, straight in to 5km on the rower - boy have I lost it compared to what I used to be able to do. I'll try and build up to a 1/2 marathon but I remember how much my butt hurt!
Cardio in gym 10:00 [3]
10 mins on eliptical thing! again - this is my warm down.
Strength training 30:00 [3]
Session on the weights for legs & arms - must start thinking about core!

Cycled Stewie to school & then home. A good 30 mins with plenty of uphill.

10 mins on eliptical thing!
Strength training 30:00 [3]
2 circuits of weight machines in gym - left shoulder still a problem since end of April - might see a physio. I've done enough today! Knackered.
Rowing - Concept 2 10:00 [3] 2 km (5:00 / km)
10 mins rowing on concept 2 - my favourite - no warm up and did over 2km - but not by much - wonder how long it'll take to get under 8 min for 2km? - a target to work for.

Monday Sep 1

Cycled to Dallam Running Club and then failed to run! School starts tomorrow so I'll be able to get out and do more. It's the 1st September - a good start! Hope to combine gym, swim, cycling and running as well as some days on the mountains - and the odd bit of orienteering. Variety is the spice of life & all that!
