Orienteering 1:05:34 [4]7.46 km (8:47 / km) +285m 7:23 / km
spiked:17/21c
Ansonia Nature Center - WCOC A-Event Day 2 - a much better run than Day 1. Started somewhat slowly, but picked up the pace in the middle of the course trying to keep up with a couple F-21's. Thanks to WCOC for a very well-run A-Event. I thought the courses, terrain, and maps were excellent. Even the Emergency Room on Saturday wasn't so bad!

Red Day 2 - Splits

Saturday Apr 3

Orienteering 38:41 [4]3.75 km (10:19 / km) +140m 8:42 / km
spiked:10/14c
Osbornedale SP (short course) - WCOC A-Event Day 1. Pretty sloppy over the first half of the course, cleaned it up a little on the second half. Fell on the way to number 2 and cut my wrist on a rock. It was a pretty clean incision, cut down to the bone. Spent the afternoon at Griffin Hospital ER getting stitched up.

Red Day 1 - Splits

Thursday Apr 1

Trail Run 46:49 [4]7.0 mi (6:40 / mi)
Bellevue / Bringhurst / Rockwood Parks - was expecting to run in the rain, but sun was actually poking through for a while.
Weights 45:00 [3]
Sit-ups 5:00 [2]
400 (150 inclined)

Wednesday Mar 31

Weights 45:00 [3]
Sit-ups 5:00 [2]
400 (200 inclined)

Tuesday Mar 30

Trail Run 40:20 [4]6.0 mi (6:43 / mi)
Brandywine Creek State Park - reverse (clockwise) loop again in a heavy mist. The rain actually felt good once I got going. Didn't sleep well last night, was running on pure caffeine. Think I underestimated Friday's time on this route (forgot to set my watch). Today seemed faster.

Monday Mar 29

Trail Run 30:00 [4]4.5 mi (6:40 / mi)
Bellevue SP - one trail loop followed by one loop on the newly resurfaced cinder track.
Sit-ups 10:00 [2]
500. While watching the Lady Lions get pummeled by UConn.
