Orienteering race 1:18:27 [4]*** 7.75 km (10:07 / km) +335m 8:19 / km
spiked:16/22c shoes: VJ O-Shoes
Nolde - Red course. The course was physical with a mix of nice woods and some green slash. I enjoyed it. Had a few minor errors - about 6 mins of lost time. Think this is the last event for my O shoes. The soles were starting to delaminate so I duct-taped them before starting. Fortunately, they didn't disintegrate on the course.

Red - Splits

Saturday Oct 22

Map Reading 1:30:00 [1]
Fair Hill NRMA, MD - Streamering in the rain. Streamers for both days are now all up except for a few White and Yellow.

Trail Run 50:29 [3]7.5 mi (6:43 / mi)

Bellevue / Bringhurst Woods / Rockwood Parks - Cool but gentle rain. Actually felt pretty comfortable. I had the park practically to myself.
Weights 45:00 [3]
After the run. I-95 was gridlocked from an accident so I bailed out and got in a quick workout.
Sit-ups 5:00 [2]

Thursday Oct 20

Trail Run 1:05:11 [3]9.0 mi (7:14 / mi)
shoes: New Balance 871's
Woodlawn Preserve / BCSP - Some of the trails on my normal route were closed for a park Halloween extravaganza so I opted for an alternate, hilly route instead. Chilly day, first tinge of color on the trees - my favorite time of the year for running. The rain that appeared all but imminent as I started never materialized. Stayed entirely on the east side of the creek, finishing on the flats.

Weights 45:00 [3]
Sit-ups 10:00 [2]

Monday Oct 17

Trail Run 41:08 [3]5.6 mi (7:20 / mi)
shoes: New Balance 871's
Brandywine Creek SP - First run in over a week. There's absolutely no excuse for taking a week hiatus in the middle of the Fall O season. But I was having serious motivational difficulties last week.
