Fair Hill - Little Egypt - Fox Chaser A-Event Day 1 M45 Red course. Was happy with this run - just a few seconds of errors here and there. Biggest time lost was at #13 where I fumbled with the unopened water jug to get a drink.

Brandywine Creek SP - Very warm, mid 70's, sunny. Headed east from the bridge parking lot climbing to the Jewish Community Ctr then down to the creek, crossing at Adams Dam. Climbing again through the western fields including the always grueling Maintenance Hill. Only a modicum of mud.

Orienteering 51:18 [4]*** 6.66 km (7:42 / km) +175m 6:48 / km
spiked:12/15c shoes: VJ Integrator
Iron Hill County Park - Attempted rerun of the Red course from the 12/2002 Mid-Atlantic Champs. Was feeling really lackadaisical all day but it was such a gorgeous day it would have been a crime not to get outside to do something. Finally dragged myself out for a 5 pm start.

Met a woman at the pavilion who asked if I had a map of the park and when I explained orienteering to her she seemed interested and said her husband would also enjoy it. Maybe they'll make it out to Fair Hill to do a rec course.

Had an ok but uninspired run up until control 10 when my brain shut down and I went directly to #13, inadvertently skipping 11 and 12. Oh well. It was good to get some woods running in anyway. Legs had no zip at all today.
