Rest day today. Got the 2nd dose of the shingrix vaccine yesterday and I now have chills, a mild fever and sore arm. So I'm camping out on the couch in my sleeping bag for a bit. Yeah, I'm a wimp.

Iron Hill County Park - Headed over to the park to sort out some course design issues I had been stewing over. When I got there, I realized I had left the map at home - duh. So went home to retrieve the map and then drove back to the park.
It was a successful morning. I think I have settled on Finish area, White course routing and general Start area. It is pretty clear the disc golf course will be pretty much closed during the race. Trying to accommodate them would severely compromise the courses. We will have to communicate with the disc golfers well in advance to alert them to this. Hopefully closing the course for an afternoon will not cause any ill will.

England - Lake District - Wasdale Route - Stage 1 - Beautiful scenery on this ride. Not too tough until the big uphill near the end with 16% max slope. Had to get my butt out of the saddle for that one. It would have been so nice to stop at one of the pubs along the way.
