Turkey trot fun, on the most part. Found myself leading from the start after cutting a corner, and despite easing back on the track to 2 nobody came past, so led Bart & a few others off in a very poor direction to 3, ending up in a similar shaped valley before realising the mistake. With Bart through the next few, splitting to 7 but regrouping with Andy & Alistair here when not finding the control (in the wrong place).
On the way to 10 they took the track up the hill and I decided to stick to the road, but didn't push far enough up the hill and missed it, losing a good few minutes, with more lost on 11 being mapped badly/wrong spot. No impetus to move quick after that, and turned my ankle slightly, so plugged along. Enjoyed the long downhill trails to the bridge and the last loop, aside from the final control where I turned my ankle again and ballsed around in the circle.

Winter 5-9 adventure continued. GNW from Rocky Ridges to Cowan, almost did some serious ankle damage descending off the ridge but got away with it. Great views with most in the valleys. Missed train by a couple of minutes but that meant time for a bacon roll.

Winter 5-9 adventure. GNW from Berrowra to Rocky Ridges campsite above Berrowra Waters. New sleeping bag = carrying less clothes = good. Two large DofE groups there, which was good as they already had the fire going for dinner. Hamstring ok once I got going.
