Head never got into this from the go and legs were complaining after yesterday.

Bit gesitant to 2 then blew a lot of time at 3 looking too early before big relocation exercise, stopped just before 4 without seeing it, switched off at 8, overshot 14, had two attempts at 16... Pretty shoddy.

Mt Kuring-gai to Berowra on the east side of the highway for the first time, which was very pleasant singletrack with a decent climb to Berowra (though not as much climb as hoped) then went and found a track down onto the GNW I'd not done before (couldn't find it in the dark a couple of weeks ago), before taking the GNW all the way to Brooklyn.

Had intended to stop at Cowan after some Jerusalem bay reps, but was feeling good so kept on going, and thought smashing my legs on a couple of descents rather than climbs would be a good end to this training block. All the climbs were comfortable and non-spectacular times, but wasn't really pushing it.

Big breakfast so not a lot eaten enroute, couple of bars and gels and a handful of trail mix. Less than 1l water and maybe 1.5l electrolyte. Pretty hungry at the end, but no food time before train.

World orienteering day at Milsons Point. No planning time other than deciding on clockwise and giving it a bit more thought on the run, but it was pretty straightforward when easily clearable. Set off easy and warmed up into it.

Lost a few minutes with shoddy lighting meaning I couldn't even really see my feet, so off-road sections 25-18-9 and finding the track up to 12 were a bit of a challenge. Good hit out.

Legs tired on cycle in, slightly better on return. Quads pretty wrecked after a couple of hours at work, eased up as afternoon wore on. Achilles tender from yesterday's pummeling.
