Sourlies to Inverie.

Early start to get across the river before high tide, thankfully the bridge sufficiently built to cross easily, then a pleasant climb up to the pass. Had hoped for better weather to take on Meall Buidhe and Luinne Bheinn but again got hit by high winds and the weather coming in once we hit the pass, so went direct to Inverie for a leisurely day of eating.

Glen Pean to Sourlies bothy, via Sgurr nan Coireachan.

Nice wee trot round the tracks out of Glen Pean to Glendessary, checking out A'Chuil bothy along the way. First half up the climb to the ridge was fine but the weather was starting to come in, so stopped and got the layers on then pushed on. Hit the top and the wind had picked up significantly, and as we started towards the ridge this was joined by hail and limited visibility so decided to write off the other munros and retreat to the low level route.

Fairly sodden stream run from here to the finish, arriving at a reasonably full Sourlies bothy filled with dry hikers bemused at our dampness.

Glenfinnan to Glen Pean bothy, over Sgurr Thuilm. After slow going through the Harry Potter crowds in drizzle the sun came out and after the viaduct we had the valley to ourselves before the solid climb up onto the ridge to the summit. Straight line route to the bothy was a hard going slippery descent but cut the distance significantly.

Long run out in Culbin, 8km steady then 6*1km (500m) on a variety of trails, beach and terrain - pretty slippy and slow along the front so not particularly quick but good to get something slightly faster done. 10km of trails & terrain back before a north sea ice bath. Legs tying up towards the end, but feeling fine off no breakfast.
