Exploring the trails around Adeline Park, north of Faulconbridge. Super nice cruisy mtb singletrack, wider and not as rocky as what's on the ridges near the house and really flowy with some great sections of bare rock. Also took a bigger trail down to Turtle Falls, a really nice waterfall and pool. Would be a nice swim spot, bar the water quality probably.

From the bottom there's a pleasant 2km segment back up the hill, so had a 13min tempo effort on that for a crown. Nice mix of runnable climb and steeper stuff, with an undulating run out at the end, so a good spot for longer hill reps.

Will be back with the MTB next time. 1.4pp/km.

Out and back on Narrowneck to Tarros, not quite as flat as I thought it'd be but good hit out - easy out, 10km steady back to the gate (just over 50 mins), then a crawl back up the hill to the van. Probably should have turned around at Bushwalker's Hill, but couldn't resist pushing on to the end. Forgot to put insoles back in the shoes, so glad the feet emerged unscathed.

Cracking views throughout on a beaut day, and the first time actually coming back that way, so good to do in both directions. 1.18pp/km, probably half walking and half cycling.

Slow night trails, down Magdala and up to Sharks head cave, where we had a wee rest stop, maybe some dinner and a brief shut eye. Some hours later we carried on up to lost world, had an explore following some cairns off the south side, then went and explored the massively overgrown St Helenas crater. After that it was a bit more firetrail running, albeit with a big bag, St Helena’s ridge and oaks up to Woodford. Good to do a longer adventure out the back door (and first overnighter for a while), and found an interesting looking linkage trail from the oaks for future exploration. 0.26pp/km

Road round to New Farm road then new trails, unmapped linkage to Batman track with a spot of bush bashing then round to Magdala, before exploring a really nice gradually climbing trail that goes up through the bush to someone’s back garden. Great way to start the day. 0.88pp/km
