Sort of orienteering - putting out tapes again, this time running (mostly) and with Kyhil for company. Apologies to some people doing this event but there are certainly a few grim patches - not really avoidable unless you're always running on tracks.

Oddest part of the run was getting stopped by a man in I would guess his late 50s to educate us about "geoengineering" (read: chemtrails). I tried to cut him off early into his spiel but stating very clearly that I did NOT ascribe to conspiracy theories but he very clearly assured me that "oh no I'm not one of THOSE people". He then went on to describe how because it's Remembrance weekend there are apparently less military planes pumping barium, strontium, "aluminum" and "GMOs" into our air and "making millions" by doing it (he wasn't too clear on how this practice was going to net people said millions). One of his main arguments was that apparently jet condensation trails shouldn't "hang around" in the sky and it's "not natural". I stopped trying to argue - I was getting cold and it seemed futile - and anyone that tells you "go and find the truth, it's out there" is obviously off their rocker.

Hilarious but at the same time frustrating that if people are going to be so passionate about something they aren't passionate about the actual, very real issues which ARE affecting our land and waterways.
