Bendigo Series event at Kangaroo Gully. Pushed pretty hard, but made a fairly big error on 3 (because I marked the control in the wrong place, and then I spent ages at the control trying to get the water pump to work!), and a few small errors on 6 and 7. Got beaten by dad = (.

This was hard! Hehe. Lots of hills, tried to be clever and avoid the biggest one but ended up climbing it anyway, plus another one! Felt alright. Tracks in Canadian Forest.

This felt surprisingly good. I guess I was resigned to the fact it was going to be slow so I didn't push too much. And it wasn't slow!

I missed the morning session because of work so I did this one on my own. Seemed to take forever! Hehe. Anyway, did some 100's of f/s, and did a 1:09 for one of them which was great!

Sunday May 25

State Series at Plenty in Melbourne, mix of park and bush. Very steep, pretty tired, very hesitant. No big errors, just stupid hesitations. Also spent about 3 minutes at number 8 because there was a flag but no punch...the punches had been near the controls, nailed to a board, but someone had stolen this one and they hadn't got a new one out. Was with a few other people there and we thought maybe it had just been placed somewhere obscure. Also spent like a minute and a half getting through this hardcore barbed wire fence!! Anyway, very slow.
