| Winter Classic Day 1 at Kooyoora Spur. Had a dreadful run!
Got up to number 5 fine, except for a wiggle on 4. Then headed off down the wrong spur on the way to 6 and would have become completely lost if I hadn't stopped and had a good look. Crossed over the saddle and then started trying to tick off features but I was in the wrong gully! Anyway worked it out and found it eventually. Number 7, being annoyed from number 6, headed off in the wrong direction down the wrong spur and ended up in the wrong gully! Don't know how I worked it out but I guess I realised there shouldn't be a big rocky spur on my right. Followed the "swirling vortex" and ended up at the wrong feature at 11, didn't waste too long though, then was looking for 15 at a feature that was hidden under the control circle = (. Oh well! It's over! | ||

| Training on Mt Beckworth, steep and quite tricky. Fairly hesitant, especially around on the really steep side where I struggled with reading what was mapped and what wasn't. Anyway good, fairly tough training. | ||
