Warm up before the tri, Garmin was on my bike so I don't know how far.

Swimming race 24:57 [5] 1.5 km (16:38 / km)

Swim Leg of Leeds MacMillan Tri, at Roundhay Park. Slower than in years past, but better than I'd expected, to be honest. Not a huge field - only 35 women in total in all age groups.

Cycling race 1:25:41 [5] 44.0 km (30.8 kph) +406m

Cycle leg of Leeds MacMillan Tri. The first half was great, I felt really strong - but unfortunately it was a tailwind and largely downhill. I did take a brief detour when I missed a sign, turned down the wrong road and lost maybe 30s. The second half was brutally hilly, and the "nice calm weather" in the morning went away, so it was also very windy. Felt extremely tired at the end of the ride.

Run leg of Leeds MacMillan Tri. This was a fun run leg, hilly and nearly all on grass - Victoria would call this "cross country". Regained a bit of energy halfway through the first of 3 laps. I won!

Rough night of very little sleep. Got up late so I didn't have time for any training before work, and headed off to Leeds after work for the race tomorrow.

5 x Hill Reps. Feeling quite fatigued, as seems often to be the case on this session. Probably shouldn't have done the swim so late in the day, seems to take more out of me than it used to. First one was 2.18, last one 2.34 so slowed down a lot (though also using my Garmin for distance and it seemed to make me run slightly further on each rep).

6 x 1km "steady" / 800 "float". This went really well! I think maybe the rest day yesterday may have had something to do with it - but I like to think that I'm just getting better. It was a little bit of a lonely session.
