Lovely chill pace run. Over to Heeley to meet Mary at her work, then we ran up Abbeydale Rd, through Ecclesall Woods, across the fields to Ringinglow Rd, down into Porter, down to Hunters Bar, back across to Heeley and then home. Grim weather but good company :)

With a few of the UOSCC crew, attempted to ride to Glossop along the (allegedly closed to cars) Snake Pass. Turns out they were allowing bikes all week, but not today :(. Did a reservoir loop and came home via New Rd / The Dale instead. Absolutely beautiful day, not a cloud in the sky nor a breath of wind.

Walk / jog around the "Great Urban Fell Race". Started off OK but faded pretty hard, had nothing in my legs for coming back up from Hillsborough at the end. Got pretty bamboozled in Parkwood Springs in the dark, also a bit terrified of what sounded like gunshots, and the area of gypsies lighting fires. My reading of OS maps is not A+.

I think this was a bit ambitious, so after the first 5 I actually skipped one and then skipped another one after 6 and then just died and did a lot of standing around.

More control site checking on Blackamoor. Very grim weather, I suppose thanks to Storm Brian. The heather was also a bit grim.

This ends my week of laziness and indulgence! Time to get back into it before doing some cross country and the Percy Pud 10k.
