SYO Club Champs score event at Whirlowbrook Hall. A unique approach where you had to start on either odd- or even- numbered controls, and you could only swap between them once. In essence this meant you really had to do two loops of the area to get all the controls.

I didn't plan it very well and instead of doing two loops of the central section, I went to all the odd-numbered controls and then only had time to get two even-numbered ones. It didn't help that I spent about 10 minutes stuck in brambles early on (note to self: close green screen in the UK is serious business. Should know this by now!).

Still feeling crappy, just jogged.

Trundle around Porter with Mary. Felt terrible in the warm up, like the glands in my neck and groin were swollen. Seemed to warm into it though, was feeling a bit better by the end.

Another day off - this one spent almost entirely in bed or on the couch. Hopefully it revitalises me a little. It snowed a bit in town today!

Social Run Group. Not too unhappy about running slowly tonight, didn't drink anything at Captain's Memorial but still not feeling amazing - I've had the faintest hint of a sore throat since Saturday morning and I don't think SPOOK has helped.

Post-SPOOK dinner. Kill me. I did not make it to the SYO event at Ecclesall Woods.

I got out of bed at 12.30 and went up to watch the SPOOK football. It was absolutely miserable weather, should have stayed in bed.
