Brooks try on run from work. Running in the Brooks Levitate. They were OK, hard to tell with my foot feeling as it does.

Just a short easy roll up Porter in an attempt to loosen up a bit. Do feel a bit better after this, back on it for the weekend maybe.

The ball of my left foot has been bothering me. I think I just wore my Sauconys past the point where they were providing any cushioning. Changed shoes now but I guess it's still aggravated.

Circuits led by Mary at Virgin Active. Guess she got sick of me saying that I was finding my normal circuits a bit easy because this was pretty hard! I would like to see if I can double up on the strength this week, I'll decide on Friday.

This was a sloooooow crawl. Body in a bit of disrepair today, legs really heavy. Obviously the circuits didn't help. Might give the ride a miss today. From Virgin Active up to Ecclesall Woods, through to Eccy Rd and through the fields across to Ringinglow Rd, then down into Porter and home. It snowed for a good part of this run, was pretty cold at the start.

Sufferfest - The Chores. It snowed pretty heavily last night (well, heavily for the city), so even though it was sunny today I wasn't game to ride outside. This session was:

Felt maybe too comfortable in the first so increased the difficulty by 5%. Still feel like it was a touch too easy.

Accidentally long Social Run Group on Five Weirs. Felt a bit bad for one of the guys just back from a recent bout of flu / faint / ECG "blip"!

Sessions 3 and 4 of Charlotte's excellent sprint camp.

Session 3 was a sprint relay around the Ponderosa area. We did 2 legs each, each of which took me about 12 minutes. Was fairly happy with both of these, the only bad parts were two poor route choices on the first one and a missing a gap on the second one.

Session 4 was more sprintervals around the Weston Park / University area. Made a couple of mistakes on the third sprinterval where I managed to confuse myself coming into an open area out of 19 and struggled coming into a little area of woods.

The weather fluctuated between sunny and snowing / hailing / sleeting.
