No training for me today, courtesy of my tooth extraction. Actually feel fine, very little pain and only a tiny bit of swelling, should be fine by tomorrow.

Had 3 wisdom teeth out this arvo. Pretty simple extraction, they took about 30s each to pull out, but no training for me for the rest of today and tomorrow.

Tough one today. Not quite as fun as the last snowy adventure. Because of the early start, Porter valley was still pretty soft and uncompacted in places, then running across Fulwood Lane / Roper Hill was a complete whiteout blizzard. I was running whilst also holding my hood and trying not to fall into the snow drifts. I intended to come back down Rivelin top path but no one had been down it and I was a bit iffy about possibly doing an ankle on something under the snow, so I ran down the fire trail to Rivelin Dams and home through the valley and back over Walkley.

Unintentional rest day - really poor sleep last night, partly due to some nearby early St Pats day celebrations, and partly due to feeling a bit overwhelmed by uni work. Then had a day in Liverpool planned as Kyhil bought a bike.

Hills in Norfolk Park - 5 x (80, 40, 20).

I went out with the intention of doing 7 straight reps of about 100s, but I got halfway up the first and felt like absolute rats. So I stopped and thought about what I could do - I could have just gone for a jog, but I decided instead to just step it back and do something a bit easier. This set is a good one because it's more spread out and you get more recovery!

Circuits run by Mary at Virgin gym. Excellent session, I didn't die nearly as much as last time, so either it was easier, I'm stronger, or (most likely) I was just on the verge of getting ill last time I did it. Followed by a good cuppa and chat with the Flemagram.

From Virgin gym, tried to follow the Round Walk to Hunters Bar and then go up Porter, predictably the signposting is pretty shite so I did get a little lost. Lovely day, warm enough for a t-shirt.
