Quite easy one at Prahran pool. Not pushing it at all, just going for distance.

Bells Bash Cliff Run - from Jan Juc surf club (currently rubble) to Bells Beach and back. Very very tough on the way out as it is quite a lot of uphill and there was a veeeeery strong headwind. Struggling a bit on the way out but running strongly enough, went through the turnaround battling two girls for 5th, 6th and 7th (one of them was Katie Seibold which would be exciting if she wasn't training for an ultra). But blew up at about 5.5km, not so much like I maxxed out my HR but more like I just absolutely ran out of energy. Lost those two girls and got passed by another in the last 300m so finished 8th. Frustrating!!

Very nostalgic run, the loop I used to do on Gardiners Creek from our old house in Glen Iris with Conan. Not much has changed! This felt very easy, so I'm surprised at the HR figures.

Ride with Kyhil on the Kew and Richmond Boulevards. Just completely empty legs for this - don't know if it was too close to the run (or maybe it was the blood test this morning, didn't think they took much though?).

Since I got this cold, all I seem to have done is eat crap, get no sleep and do too much training. Having a day off to see if maybe I can start to feel better for the Bells Bash on Friday. My cough is still hanging around and feeling exhausted but not headachy or sore so fingers crossed.

3 x 2km Bondarenko at Collingwood track, first one on my own (really slow!), last two with Frederick, Saara, Mary and Tash for company (all at various paces). Big session for the first one back, tried not to overdo it but I think I went out too hard on all the 400s and then just had to hold on for the rest of the rep. Some of the floats were slow which again was probably due to not sticking to my paces.

Franga and back from home with Kyhil on my new bikey!! It rode like a dream. Started off feeling very ordinary but perked up a bit. Drizzled on and off throughout but never that heavy. Quite easy going really, very flat and not much wind about.
