Sufferfest - The Wretched. Left work late and it was really windy so chose indoors.

Tired legs today, had to back the intensity off by 10% in the last 10min of the set.

Long Orienteering training near Scarsdale set by dad. Not super technical but some tricky vague areas. Mix of clear running and slower steeper bits and some thick bracken. Felt quite good, did start to tire at the end and made a dumb mistake but mostly navigated well.

Sufferfest - It seemed like thin air

Kyhil wasn't keen on going outside because the radar was showing some drizzle. But I was watching outside for the whole ride and it didn't rain at all! So that was frustrating. This isn't a hard session, just keeping my mind occupied and keeping me from going mad.

Another short but good session. Felt a bit ordinary warming up, had a stitch and stiff back and ankles, but warmed up and felt pretty good. Felt strong, was consistent, maybe a little slow but not drastically so.

I got to run in the light which was fabulous :)

At the new bouldering gym in Collingwood. Lots of fun, I'm very lacking in skill or strength but hopefully if I can do this a bit more I will improve! 2 hours all up but very stop start, plus cycle to and from.

Longer slowish one. Felt comfortable and pretty good but did have to keep reminding myself to relax and ease off a bit as my HR kept climbing.

Also - got new shoes yesterday and ran in them both days - wouldn't normally advise running 1hr plus in new shoes straight off the bat but they are exactly the same sole as my old ones, just a different upper. Only thing was that they are maybe still a little stiff, could afford to soften a bit.

8 x 1 min on 1 min off. Might be a baby session but happy to be going back to basics, this was consistent and I pushed hard throughout (rather than some other sessions recently where I haven't been strong enough and have just tired and lost intensity). Felt good!
